{"id":457,"date":"2023-03-08T03:21:41","date_gmt":"2023-03-08T03:21:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hostelachalay.com\/?post_type=trekking&#038;p=457"},"modified":"2023-04-18T04:26:23","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T04:26:23","slug":"refugio-lopez","status":"publish","type":"trekking","link":"https:\/\/hostelachalay.com\/en\/trekking\/refugio-lopez\/","title":{"rendered":"Lopez Refuge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To the left of the Lopez stream, where a wooden kiosk is located, the trail begins, ascending gently through a wooded area, then the slope increases, and the vegetation becomes more shrubby until reaching a ridge that offers a view of the gained elevation.<br>Continue the ascent to an intermediate stop called Roca Negra, an ideal place for families or those with little time to walk. From Roca Negra, there is a fork in the road. Take the left one, crossing the 4x4 vehicular road until finding a straight path leading to Cruz del Soldado. Continue there until crossing Lopez stream and walk the last 45 minutes to the refuge.<br>From the Refuge, you can reach \"Pico Turista\" by walking an additional 1.8 km of high difficulty.
