The Cerro Otto Cable Car is just five kilometers from the center, offering free transportation to the cable car's base. Upon arrival, you ascend by gondolas to the rotating confectionery. Another way to access this place is by car from kilometer 1 of Pioneros Avenue or on foot. In addition to the famous rotating confectionery, Cerro Otto has other recreational complexes such as Piedras Blancas (sledding tracks in winter), EUCA (aerial adventure park), the Nordic Ski Center, the Berghof refuge, zip line station, and many walking trails.
