Mountain and trekking

Bariloche starts at your feet

At Achalay we don't just give you a bed and a homemade breakfast.
We give you maps, real advice, hidden trails, and that motivation that makes you tie your shoelaces and go for a walk.

We love the mountains.

And if you're reading this, you probably are too.

We know that not everyone comes with the same experience: some already bring walking sticks and a backpack ready; others, just the desire to start.
That's why we support you according to your level, your time, and your energy.
Without trying to sell you anything. With the truth of someone who went up, went down, got wet, and came back with a smile.

Before heading out into the mountains...

Exploring the trails of Bariloche is an unforgettable experience, but it also requires preparation and awareness.

Before each outing, we recommend:

  • Check the weather forecast, as conditions can change rapidly in Patagonia.
  • Carry a backpack with enough water, energy food and warm clothing, even if the day seems mild.
  • Wear footwear and clothing appropriate for the type of trail you will be hiking.
  • Remember that it is strictly forbidden to make fires inside the National Park.
  • Plan your route and check the level of difficulty.

At Achalay, we're here to help: if you have any questions about the trails, the weather, or what to bring, stop by reception or write to us. We'll share maps, tips, and everything we know so you can enjoy the mountains safely.

IMPORTANT: Completing the Trekking Registration is mandatory (it's free). Access the link using the button below.
